What is LUMAKRAS Used For?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lumakras is used to treat:<\/p>\n

\u2705 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)<\/strong>
\u2705 In adults with KRAS G12C mutation-positive tumors<\/strong>
\u2705 Typically used after at least one prior systemic therapy<\/strong><\/p>\n

What are the ingredients in Lumakras?<\/h2>\n

Active Ingredient: sotorasib<\/p>\n

Inactive Ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, and magnesium stearate. Tablet film coating material contains polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, talc, iron oxide yellow and iron oxide red (320 mg tablet only).<\/p>\n

Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sotorasib is a KRAS G12C inhibitor<\/strong>.
It selectively and irreversibly<\/strong> binds to the mutant KRAS G12C protein, inhibiting its signaling and stopping cancer cell growth.<\/p>\n

    KRAS G12C mutation must be confirmed<\/strong> by an FDA-approved test<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
