What is Diacomit?<\/h2>\n

Diacomit is a prescription medicine used to treat\u00a0seizures<\/a>\u00a0associated with Dravet syndrome. Dravet syndrome is a rare chronic form of\u00a0epilepsy<\/a>\u00a0that begins in the first year of life and causes frequent or prolonged seizures.<\/p>\n

Diacomit is for use in adults and children at least 6 months old and weighing 15 lbs (7 kg) or more who also take another medicine called clobazam.<\/p>\n

There is no clinical data to support the use of Diacomit alone to treat Dravet syndrome.<\/p>\n
