Description:
Tafmune EM tablet contains a combination of two antiretroviral drugs, Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Alafenamide, which are only effective against RNA viruses (retroviruses) such as the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). These drugs each inhibit the action of the virus-specific enzyme reverse transcriptase (RT), which is necessary for the replication of the virus.
Tafmune EM Tablet is used in the treatment of HIV infection.
