Aprepitant is a prescription medicine used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.

May Treat: Nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy

Drug Class: NK1 Antagonists (Phenylmorpholine Derivative)

Pregnancy: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – Aprepitant may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. However, the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – Aprepitant is probably unsafe to use during lactation.

Alcohol: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – Interaction with alcohol is not known. Please consult your doctor.

Driving: UNSAFE – Aprepitant may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
