Dasatinib is used in the treatment of blood cancer (chronic myeloid leukaemia). It is used in patients whose disease could not be treated with other medications for leukaemia or who cannot take these medications because of side effects.

May Treat: Blood cancer (Chronic myeloid leukaemia)

Drug Class: Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (Pyrimidine and Thiazole Derivetive)

Pregnancy: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – Dasatinib is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation: UNSAFE – Dasatinib is unsafe to use during lactation.

Alcohol: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – Interaction with alcohol is not known. Please consult your doctor.

Driving: UNSAFE – Dasatinib may cause side effects that affect your ability to drive.

Liver Warning: SAFE IF PRESCRIBED – Dasatinib is safe to use in patients with liver disease.
