Dayvigo is a prescription medication containing Lemborexant, an orexin receptor antagonist used to treat insomnia in adults. It is available in two strengths: 5 mg and 10 mg.
Dayvigo is indicated for the treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep onset and/or maintenance. It works by blocking the action of orexin, a chemical in the brain that promotes wakefulness, thereby helping individuals fall asleep and stay asleep longer.

Drowsiness
Headache
Fatigue
Abnormal dreams or nightmares
Sleep paralysis
Suicidal thoughts or behaviors (rare)
Most side effects are mild and tend to resolve as the body adjusts to the medication. However, if any side effects persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider.
Dosage: As prescribed by your doctor, typically 5 mg or 10 mg taken orally at bedtime.
Administration: Take the tablet right before going to bed, ensuring at least 7 hours remain before the planned time of awakening.
Food Interaction: Dayvigo can be taken with or without food, but taking it with a high-fat meal may delay its onset of action.
Precautions:
Avoid Alcohol: Consuming alcohol while taking Dayvigo can increase the risk of side effects like drowsiness and impaired motor skills.
