Ibandronic Acid is used to treat or prevent weakening of the bones (osteoporosis) caused by menopause or use of steroids. Using this medicine can reduce your risk of breaking bones.

Drug Class: Bone resorption inhibitor -Bisphosphonates (Bisphosphonate Derivative)

Pregnancy: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – Ibandronic Acid may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. However, the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation: SAFE IF PRESCRIBED – Ibandronic Acid is probably safe to use during lactation.

Alcohol: CAUTION – Caution is advised. Please consult your doctor.
