Lorbriqua is a brand name for lorlatinib, a targeted therapy developed by Pfizer for the treatment of certain types of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is particularly effective in cases where tumors are ALK-positive or ROS1-positive, as determined by specific genetic testing.
Lorbriqua is indicated for the treatment of adults with:
Metastatic NSCLC that is ALK-positive or ROS1-positive, especially in patients who have progressed on or are intolerant to prior ALK or ROS1 inhibitor therapies.
It works by inhibiting the activity of the abnormal proteins produced by these gene mutations, thereby slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
Standard Dosage: 100 mg taken orally once daily.
Administration: Can be taken with or without food. Swallow tablets whole; do not chew, crush, or split them.
Dose Adjustments: In cases of adverse reactions or when taken with certain other medications, the dose may be reduced to 75 mg or 50 mg once daily, as directed by a healthcare provider.

Swelling in the arms, legs, hands, or feet (edema)
Peripheral neuropathy (numbness or tingling in extremities)
