Viropil (Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate)

Description:
Viropil is a combination medication used for the treatment of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection. It contains three active ingredients: tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (300 mg), lamivudine (300 mg), and efavirenz (600 mg).

Uses:
Viropil is used for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults who are antiretroviral-naive (have not previously taken HIV medications) or as a replacement regimen for those who are virologically stable on their current antiretroviral therapy.
It is not a cure for HIV infection, but it can help to control the virus and reduce the risk of disease progression.

Dosage:
The recommended dosage of Viropil is one tablet taken orally once daily, preferably on an empty stomach at bedtime.
It is important to take Viropil exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Storage:
Viropil should be stored at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
Keep it in a dry place, away from moisture and heat.
Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Precautions:

Warnings:

Viropil may cause serious side effects, such as liver problems, lactic acidosis (a buildup of lactic acid in the blood), and severe skin reactions. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience symptoms such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, abdominal pain, rapid breathing, severe rash, or blistering of the skin.
Viropil may also cause psychiatric symptoms, including depression, suicidal thoughts, and mood changes. If you experience changes in mood or behavior, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Medicine Interactions:

Viropil may interact with other medications, including certain anticonvulsants, antifungal medications, antibiotics, and herbal products. Inform your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications and supplements, to avoid potential interactions.
