Lazcluze (Lazertinib) is an oral targeted anticancer medicine used for the treatment of adults with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It belongs to the third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) class and works by selectively blocking abnormal EGFR signals that drive the growth and survival of cancer cells. By inhibiting these signals, Lazcluze helps slow or stop tumor growth and may reduce the spread of cancer. It is particularly effective against certain EGFR mutations, including mutations that can make earlier EGFR inhibitors less effective.
