What is VITRAKVI?
Vitrakvi is used to treat solid tumors in adults and children that are caused by certain abnormal neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase (NTRK) genes and the cancer has spread, or surgery to remove the cancer is likely to cause severe complications. Vitrakvi is used when there is no other acceptable treatment option or the solid tumor has grown or spread after other treatments.
Vitrakvi is an oral capsule or solution that is taken twice a day.
Vitrakvi (Larotrectinib) is an anti-cancer targeted therapy used to treat:
✅ Solid tumors that have a neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase (NTRK) gene fusion
✅ When the tumor has no known resistance, and no satisfactory alternative treatment options are available
✅ In both adult and pediatric patients
It is not specific to a single cancer type, but rather to the genetic mutation (NTRK fusion) found in many cancers.
Mechanism of Action:
Larotrectinib is a selective TRK inhibitor.
It blocks TRK fusion proteins, which are formed when NTRK genes abnormally fuse with other genes and drive tumor growth.

Constipation
Cough
Anemia
